To close our weekend together, national meditation teacher Sharon Salzberg and yoga teacher Desirée Rumbaugh, lead us in an hour of practice and story that explores the power of practice to open us to joy, even in the midst of life’s challenges.
Sharon Salzberg is cofounder of the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts. One of America’s leading meditation teachers and authors, she has been a student of Buddhism since 1971 and had guided meditation retreats worldwide since 1974. Her latest book is the New York Times best seller Real Happiness.
Desirée Rumbaugh travels the world as a full-time yoga teacher, offering workshops that are innovative, transformative, challenging, and compassionate. Her DVD series, Yoga to the Rescue, is designed for those who have avoided yoga because of inflexibility, chronic pain, or other fitness issues.
