We live in a world with so many spiritual paths to chose from that it can be overwhelming. How do you know which one is the right one for you?
Buddhist scholar Edward W. Bastian can guide you in this exploration as he shows you how to “lead from within” using his Spiritual Paths Mandala. The Spiritual Paths Mandala can help you develop your own spiritual path by integrating your deepest spiritual values and practices into all aspects of your life.
Not a mere questionnaire, the Spiritual Paths Mandala was developed by Bastian through his close collaboration with more than 50 Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Taoist, and Native American contemplative teachers. It outlines 12 families of spiritual styles, questions, and traditions to help steer you toward your own spiritual destiny.
You begin your quest identifying your primary and secondary spiritual styles. Then you refine your personal spiritual path, which ultimately enables you to serve the deepest needs of yourself and others.
Faculty asks that you bring a journal with you to the course and if available, a laptop.
Additionally, faculty recommends you read the following books in preparation for the course:
