Description

This workshop has been cancelled.

Ensemble Singing presents an exhilarating opportunity to work with one of the most celebrated vocal ensembles in the country. Together and in small groups led by members of The Western Wind, we sing a cappella music ranging from chants, rounds, and improvisations to Renaissance, Romantic, folk, spirituals, and contemporary.

The vocal ensemble can be a paradigm for an ideal society in which everyone has an equal voice. By honoring each others’ perceptions and communicating with sensitivity and tact, we create a warm, safe, and joyous community in which we can experience the deep feelings that music evokes.

Ensemble Singing is for singers who can carry a tune and match pitch. Pre-existing singing groups are welcome.
