Description

We are no longer taking online registrations for this workshop.

Insecurity and loss are part of being alive and each of us longs for a place of true refuge, where we are at home with our life and spirit.

This meditation retreat with Tara Brach, the inspiring Buddhist teacher and best-selling author of Radical Acceptance, explores how, in the face of even life’s greatest challenges, you can discover a sanctuary of wisdom and equanimity in your own awakened heart. Through meditation, guided exercises, and discussions, learn how to cultivate Buddhism’s three archetypal portals, or the three gateways to peace and freedom, that lead to emotional healing and spiritual awakening: mindfulness, loving presence, and open awareness.

The weekend includes periods of silence, as well as interpersonal sharing in a safe and supportive setting. This retreat is open to beginning and experienced meditators, as well as health professionals who want to use these skills with their clients.
