Description

Yoga is nothing if not a journey to show you how to experience life directly and be at peace. To further your journey, you are invited to steep yourself in this profound practice with two of the nation’s most respected yoga teachers, Colleen Saidman and Rodney Yee.

You spend the weekend exploring asana, pranayama, and meditation, and the relationship between the three. As you align to your center through asana, you hone the attention of your mind, which can observe the subtle messages of your breath. Then you weave your mind and body together with the thread of your breath in pranayama. This yoking brings you to meditation and present-moment awareness.

You are guided through a series of standing and seated poses, twists and backbends, poses to open the hips, and forward bends. Then you experience a vinyasa practice through all the postures, with an emphasis on breath to leave you at the doorstep of pranayama and meditation. This turns you inward toward your center where you observe more deeply your beautiful life freely unfolding.
