There is great value in learning about ourselves from the inside out: goddess archetypes can shape our psychology in ways that help women and girls recognize their value in society.
In this workshop, storyteller, author, and Jungian analyst, Jean Shinoda Bolen brings myths to life. In her storytelling and insights, we learn about the power and gifts of the “Goddesses in Everywoman.”
Together we explore topics from Bolen’s latest book, Atalanta: The Indomitable Spirit in Everywoman, and discuss other archetypes that empower women to stand up for themselves; be protectors, environmentalists, and feminists; and have an affinity for sacred experiences and solitude.
Bolen is joined by singer-songwriter Barbara McAfee, whose gifts add music and movement to our experience. Together, they draw us into a circle of creative play, laughter, and analysis.
All women are welcome, especially those in life transitions.
The Children's Program is generally available during standard workshop hours only. Contact Omega registration at 800.944.1001 for details.
The above schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the faculty.
