The ability to sense and actualize emerging opportunities is an essential life and leadership tool in today’s world. As the current period of disruptive changes intensifies, the capacity to deeply cosense and cocreate the future will become even more critical.

This workshop explores the concepts of presencing and changing “ego-system economies” into “eco-system economies,” as introduced in Otto Scharmer’s best-selling books, Theory U and Leading From the Emerging Future.

Through lectures, small-group dialogue processes, personal reflection, and embodiment and presencing practices we:

  • Enhance our ability to sense and actualize the future
  • See situations from the view of the larger eco-system
  • Learn presencing, mindfulness, and awareness techniques
  • Discover resources for sustaining these practices in our personal and professional lives
