There is nothing like that “aha” moment when we suddenly understand someone else’s perspective. In fact, it is the crucial first step in cultivating empathy, an essential leadership tool that is more important than ever in today’s world.

In this workshop we explore how, when we suspend the thoughts that separate us from others, we are free to discover the experiences and life events that join us together. When we approach each other this way, we develop a shared trust and a deeper understanding that opens the door for new relationships.

Through group discussion and dialogue, we see how clear communication can help us build unifying solutions to challenges in relationships and organizations. We also practice empathy and mediation techniques that help us learn to see the perspective of another, re-frame issues, deal with impasse, negotiate solutions, and prevent and resolve conflict.

Women who want to develop a greater understanding of themselves and their relationships, deepen their leadership skills, and cultivate effective solutions to personal and professional challenges are welcome.
