Description

Integrating our spiritual practice with our speech and communication is one of the main ways to embody deeply-held values in our daily lives—in our actions and interactions in the world.  This retreat offers practical training and concrete tools to help us bring these values into our speech.

During our week together, we will connect mindfulness and loving-kindness meditation, the Buddha's teachings on wise speech, and the contemporary discipline of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Collectively, these practices form a powerful foundation for cultivating awareness and empathy, strengthening our ability to be skillful in challenging situations, and developing our capacity to listen and speak from the heart.

Through the combination of silent meditation practice, guided reflections, and interactive exercises, participants will develop a stronger sense of presence, greater access to compassion, and more versatile and clearer communication.

With his years of training and experience, Oren offers a unique, seamless and dynamic approach to this work, appropriate for both experienced and newer students of meditation and communication
