Description

Increasing workloads and tighter deadlines are major challenges of today’s working life. Without effective tools to deal with the pressure, you can suffer emotional, mental, and physiological imbalances at work and at home. However, it is possible to meet your daily challenges with clarity, kindness, and happiness. Managing your mind is the solution.

In Mindfulness at Work, Rasmus Hougaard and Jacqueline Carter teach you simple yet powerful mindfulness techniques to increase your capacity to deal with a busy work life while remaining calm and clear, and more efficient and effective. You also learn about the nature of the mind and how to harness your mind’s potential to break habitual patterns, improve your mood, and be more proactive.

As you practice mindfulness skills, you learn how to apply them to specific aspects of living and working, including setting goals, defining priorities, planning your time, and managing your energy. You also learn how to bring core attitudes such as presence, patience, kindness, and acceptance into daily life.

This workshop is perfect for those who are new to mindfulness, as well as those with experience in mindfulness who are interested in learning how to apply mindfulness at work. Helping professionals also learn skills and techniques to use in their work for themselves and to teach their clients.
