We are no longer taking online registrations for this workshop.

Sil Reynolds and her 24-year-old daughter, Eliza Reynolds, lead mothers and their 10-to-12-year-old daughters in a weekend of initiation, communication, and celebration. We take the time to nourish our relationship and learn how to respect and understand each other more completely. Through ritual, storytelling, art, and exercises in communication, we gain tools that build bridges and keep those bridges strong through the teen years.

Mothers have time with Sil to share the joys and challenges of mothering a preteen, including working on strategies for keeping the bond strong and finding the balance of holding on and letting go. Daughters have time with Eliza, and her team of teen assistants, to express their feelings and share their vision—not only as daughters, but also as emerging teens and young women. With participants from around the country, the group comes together to create a wonderfully supportive community.

Throughout the weekend, mothers and daughters learn new ways of being together in mutual respect and love—and have fun!
