Part Two: October 4–16
Course 2012-253/Tuition $2,875

Would you like to teach yoga to anyone, regardless of their experience or ability—not just the young, strong, and flexible? Are you seeking a nondogmatic approach based on solid principles that encompass the full breadth and depth of yoga?

Yoga teachers in today’s world need to possess the expertise, knowledge, and adaptable approach to yoga that allows them to guide classes that may contain younger and older students, physically challenged and able students, experienced and beginning students, and everyone in between—all in the same room.

This special 200-hour Pranotthan Yoga Teacher Training is designed for those interested in providing a joyful, safe, and transformative experience to anyone who walks into a yoga class. You learn to guide students with a multidimensional approach, using the powerful yogic tools of asana, pranayama, meditation, self-inquiry, and communion with source, so your classes are an enlivening physical exercise and a multilayered transformational experience.

This 2-part, 24-day, in-depth intensive is designed to deepen your experience of the ancient science of yoga while you train to become a confident, skilled, and compassionate yoga teacher. Throughout this Yoga Alliance-certified teacher training, you explore a varied curriculum, which includes:
•    Teaching techniques and methodologies
•    Philosophy, scriptures, ethics, and lifestyle
•    Anatomy, alignment, and physiology
•    Experiential practice, assists, and more

Drawing from a variety of classic hatha yoga styles, along with the inspired life and teachings of Swami Kripalu, the Pranotthan Yoga Teacher Training includes some of the most experienced yoga teacher trainers in the country. With the support of this team of highly experienced yogis, who have trained thousands of yoga teachers, you gain the teaching skills you need and deepen your own personal practice in a two-part yoga journey that is infused with the ancient yogic practices that create an authentic life—the ultimate result of yoga.

Pranotthan (pronounced “prana-tan”) means the awakening of prana and its intuitive intelligence. Pranotthan Yoga is compatible with all other yoga styles and traditions. This teacher training is open to yogis from any yogic tradition who seek a transformative yoga teacher certification program.

This training consists of two parts, each in 12-day sessions. Part One begins June 7 and ends June 19. Part Two takes place from October 4–16. There will be some homework, integration, and coaching check-ins with staff and fellow students throughout the break to support your continued learning, growth, skill, and community. Tuition includes a Pranotthan Yoga Teachers Manual and all sessions with the two main teachers, Devarshi Steven Hartman and Jovinna Chan, along with skilled program assistants, guest teachers, and visiting faculty.

Accomodations & Meals Package is additional. Tuition does not include required reading. Payment plans are not available. Enrollment is by application only and requires a $25 nonrefundable application fee (payable to Omega). Applicants must have at least one year of a regular yoga practice in order to apply and must attend both parts of the training. Refunds are not available once the training begins.
