We are no longer taking online registrations for this workshop.

Are you in transition? Do you crave time and space for quiet reflection, rest, and renewal? Are you ready to reconnect with your wise self?

In a nurturing, empowering, and supportive environment, Renée Peterson Trudeau and Deborah Kern give you the opportunity to slow down and experience the transformative power of self-care to replenish your body and soul.

“Self-care—the art of attuning and responding to your needs and desires—is a moment to moment process,” says Trudeau. “It’s not about adding something to your to-do list; it’s about cultivating a new way of being.”

  • With self-compassion and self-acceptance, you:
  • Explore your heart’s desire and your life purpose
  • Bring self-renewal practices into everyday life
  • Meditate to enhance peace and harmony
  • Learn ancient Ayurvedic wisdom and secrets for modern life
  • Balance your yin and yang energies
  • Discover joyful, pleasurable movement suitable for your body type and size
  • Understand your natural rhythms

Enjoy authentic, soulful connection with like-minded women as you reclaim your life, embrace a new way of being, and experience greater freedom and joy!

More Information

You are encouraged to read/subscribe to Live Inside Out, Renee’s weekly blog which highlights her personal journey to self-compassion and balanced living (Read 5 Reasons I Take Retreats) and explore some of the other free life balance resources on her web site.

We also recommend you consider ordering Renee’s award-winning title on life balance/self-renewal, The Mother’s Guide to Self-Renewal (for women at ALL life stages—not just mothers) to read prior to the retreat.  Interested in enhancing peace and harmony in the everyday for your family? Explore Renee’s newest book, Nurturing the Soul of Your Family.

You can read more about the retreat here.

Share this page with your friends/family that may also want to attend. We often have many sisters, mothers, daughters, best friends, and women celebrating milestone birthdays join us. The weekend is for women of all ages and life stages.

There will be an optional Moon Ceremony on Wednesday evening from 7:30-9:00 p.m.

Things to Bring:

Bring a journal and wear comfortable clothing.

We’d like for you to bring one thing to our circle on the first day that symbolizes one of your passions or interests and tells us more about who YOU really are. It could be a poem, a passage, a photo, or an everyday item (if you are a parent, we’re going to challenge you to not bring a photo of your kids as your “thing”).  Bring something that helps us get a sense for what matters most to you at your current life stage.

We look forward to our weekend and being in a women’s circle with you. Don’t hesitate to e-mail us with questions at, dialogue with us on Facebook, or call 512-459-6700.
