An intuitive reading may reveal things that are unknown or secret. The reader may even predict events or deliver advice from spirit. By contrast, reading the tarot interactively focuses on the querent more than the reader, so that the querent does much of the interpretation with the reader as guide. The goal is for the querent to gain self-knowledge and make decisions.
How can we bring intuitive and interactive tarot reading together, develop our own intuitive abilities, and use them in the service of guiding a querent to personal insights?
In this workshop with master tarot readers Mary K. Greer and Rachel Pollack, we work on our skills as readers, build up our understanding of symbols and traditions, learn to discern the story in the patterns, and discover how to apply the cards’ wisdom to people’s questions. We also explore other styles of reading the tarot that lead to a person’s own goals, clarifications, and life choices.
All levels of experience are welcome.
Bring at least one tarot deck that you feel most attracted to.
