Description

We are no longer taking online registrations for this workshop.

Whether you are seeking personal growth, looking for a new modality to begin or enhance a bodywork practice, or preparing to qualify for national reflexology certification, this fun and relaxing workshop is for you.

Reflexology is the practice of using pressure points (reflexes) on the feet to heal and revitalize the entire body. Documented benefits of reflexology include balance and normalization of the body’s systems, stress reduction, and improved circulation and immune system function.

Through lecture, discussion, and hands-on work, including daily partner exchange, led by expert reflexologist Bob Wolfe, you learn:

  • Reflexology's history, theory, and principles
  • Relevant anatomy and physiology
  • How to map the body’s reflexes on the feet
  • Business practices and ethics
  • Five basic reflexology techniques
  • How to confidently give a successful, relaxing one-hour reflexology session

More Information

Limited enrollment; register early.

This workshop begins Sunday at 8:00 p.m. No previous experience or training is required; however participants should make themselves familiar with the major body systems with a basic anatomy and physiology book prior to the class.  Remember to wear comfortable clothing.  Well-clipped and filed fingernails are essential. The training will award you a 55-hour certificate of study that can be used toward national certification by the American Reflexology Certification Board.  Certification confers recognition in reflexology; it is not a state license.
