We are no longer taking online registrations for this workshop.

Restorative yoga is a practice that utilizes a variety of props (blankets, bolsters, chairs, etc.) to allow for deep relaxation and a quieting of the mind. It encourages a deep connection with the body and allows us to open to ourself and life as we release tension and stress.

In this restorative yoga teacher training, you:

  • Acquire an understanding of fundamental restorative postures that form a balanced, sequenced practice
  • Learn how to lead a full, step-by-step restorative sequence, even without the benefit of formal props
  • Engage in other “quiet practices” using targeted, guided breathwork and gentle movement and stretching
  • Use the wisdom of Ayurveda to learn how to customize your own practice, and that of your students, based on individual needs

At the conclusion of the week, teaching professionals have the ability and confidence to lead a complete restorative yoga practice, or simply incorporate elements of this training into their own class structure.

This training is designed for yoga teachers, body-care workers, and health-care professionals. Nonprofessionals wishing to learn this practice for their own benefit are also welcome.
