Scholarships

Omega believes that the benefits of a holistic education should be available to everyone. Each year, we provide hundreds of full and partial scholarships that enable people to participate in a wide range of workshops, retreats, and conferences. Thanks to the generous support we receive from donors, annual contributions, and scholarship sponsors, we are able to award a limited number of partial and full scholarships to qualified applicants.

Below is a list of Omega's current scholarships. Scholarship criteria, eligibility, and application deadlines differ so please review each scholarship description to find the one that best fits your needs.

2014 Omega General Scholarship Application - 01/13/2014 to 11/03/2014

2014 United Breast Cancer Foundation Scholarship - 01/17/2014 to 10/30/2014

The United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) and the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies are proud to announce a partnership providing financial assistance to breast cancer patients and survivors so they can participate in classes, seminars, and other learning opportunities focused on holistic healing, health, and well-being at Omega's Rhinebeck, New York campus. Scholarships cover program tuition, meals, and accommodations for a weekend workshop. Use the attached pdf to apply or call 845.266.4444, ext. 180.

2014 UBCF ~ UWHA! Scholarship Program - 02/06/2014 to 08/29/2015

The United Breast Cancer Foundation’s UWHA! presents the workshop Connect to Y.E.S. Through Emotional Fitness™ . United Women’s Health Alliance! (UWHA!) empowers Everyone to embrace their True Nature; cultivating prosperity, intuition and a genuine relationship with self through a variety of mental and physical practices. UWHA! encourages women and men to draw from techniques both ancient and modern, to assist with prevention, treatment and recovery creating a harmonious balance between self, family and community. You can turn to UWHA! as a resource for renewal of mind, body and soul. Scholarships cover program tuition for the Connect to Y.E.S. Through Emotional Fitness™ workshop. 

2014 OFF THE MAT, INTO THE WORLD® - 02/24/2014 to 08/19/2014

Off the Mat, Into the World will allow you to embark on a transformational journey of provocative self-inquiry and creative exploration to uncover your deepest passion and motivation for service that leads to embodied, effective, and conscious action. Combining the tools of yoga, meditation, process work, voice, and ritual with the practical tools of communication, organizing, and collaborating, you learn to become more effective leaders and agents of change in the world. Please apply by August 19, 2014. Complete scholarship details are available here or call 845.266.4444, ext.180.

2014 Mindfulness & Education Conference Scholarship Program - 03/20/2014 to 05/06/2014

The 1440 Fund, an advised fund of Silicon Valley Community Foundation and the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies are proud to announce scholarship availability for Mindfulness & Education Conference: Bringing Mindfulness Practice to Children Grades K-12, to be presented July 25-27, 2014. Scholarships are available for teachers, educators, and school administrators who want to cultivate their own mindfulness practice for stress relief, presence, and emotional balance, and learn how to apply these skills in a classroom setting.

2014 Contemplative Practice in Higher Education Scholarship Program - 03/26/2014 to 06/15/2014

Omega Institute, through the generosity of The 1440 Fund, an advised fund of Silicon Valley Community Foundation, is pleased to announce scholarship availability for Contemplative Practice in Higher Education, to be presented August 22-24, 2014. Scholarships are available for teachers, educators, and school administrators who want to cultivate their own mindfulness practice for stress relief, presence, and emotional balance, and learn how to apply these skills in a classroom setting.
