This scriptwriting workshop teaches you skills you can begin to use the next time you work on a project, whether it’s a play, screenplay, or television script.
Playwright, director, and author Rosary O’Neill takes you through the fundamentals of good narrative storytelling as you consider the nature of scenes and find out how to become more conscious of scenes around you to create compelling stories no matter what genre you are working in.
You then write about your personal experiences and shape them into short scripts. As you do so, you learn about narrative structure, point of view, and scene development.
We write alone and together, exchange ideas, and respond to each other’s work through an interactive process with scenes read aloud. Finally, we work on 10-minute scenes from prompts.
This scriptwriting workshop is for anyone with any level of scriptwriting experience, from novice to professional.
