How can the modern workplace become a source of inner peace and global transformation?

Join Mirabai Bush and Gopi Kallayil to explore why and how organizations, including Google, now teach mindfulness practice and emotional intelligence skills and offer yoga programs at work, such as the famed Search Inside Yourself (SIY) program and Yoglers.

The SIY curriculum and methodology developed for Google is based on the realization that the solutions to many of our problems lie within ourselves. By practicing mindfulness at work, we can become more emotionally intelligent, recover from adversity more easily and swiftly, and create more potential for ourselves and our organizations to flourish.

In this weekend program, we learn how to create a community of mindfulness in our own workplace. Through lectures, discussion, and experiential exercises, we explore contemplative practices that lead to insight and compassion, including methods specifically designed for the workplace, such as mindful emailing and mindful listening. We discover how these innovative work environment methods have been shown to cultivate mental fitness and clarity, foster agile and adaptive mindsets, reduce stress responses, increase resilience and creativity, promote better communication skills and emotional regulation, and maintain a greater sense of well-being.

Optional yoga sessions (for beginners through experienced yogis) and an evening of kirtan chanting will be offered.
