Find A Workshop

An Introduction to Shamanic Journeying

June 19, 2015 – June 21, 2015
Rhinebeck, NY
Hank Wesselman

We are no longer taking online registrations for this workshop.

The rediscovery of shamanism has emerged as a major component of the modern world’s spiritual reawakening. This experiential, introductory weekend with shaman, author, and anthropologist Hank Wesselman grants us direct access to the techniques traditional shamans use to access hidden dimensions of reality and connect with inner sources of power and wisdom.

In the 1970s, while doing fieldwork in Ethiopia, Hank Wesselman experienced spontaneous expanded states of awareness that brought him to direct, personal contact with the ancient methods practiced by tribal peoples. During this workshop, which is appropriate for laypeople and helping professionals, we learn the methods he experienced.

Through these classic shamanic journey methods, we connect with the inner levels of reality, awareness, and experience to find our spirit helpers and teachers. The workshop includes empowerment work and concludes with a shamanic healing ritual.
