Description

You were going along in your life, expecting certain outcomes. Then a painful curve ball comes out of nowhere and knocks you off course. A relationship ends, a business fails, an accident occurs.

When such events happen, we feel a variety of painful emotions—shock, anger, sadness, worry, shame. We experience a loss—of identity, health, love, a home, safety, a dream. Then we are forced on a journey with a host of challenging questions: How do we make it through the first difficult days? How do we deal with the financial, emotional, and circumstantial aftermath? Where do we find the strength to try again? How, eventually, do we find renewed fulfillment and success?

Join M.J. Ryan—referred to as “an expert in human fulfillment”—to create inner and outer resilience through lecture, journaling, one-on-one sessions, and small-group discussions. By the workshop’s end, you’ll know the best that psychology, brain science, and wisdom traditions have to offer you about not just surviving, but thriving through challenges.
