Description

Learn to make your own natural beauty products personalized for your skin.

With the guidance of Farmaesthetics founder, Brenda Brock, who has been dubbed a “natural beauty guru” by Martha Stewart, and a licensed holistic aesthetician, you use familiar herbs, flowers, oils, and grains to create healing infusions and make your own herbal skincare products specific to your skin type. You learn how to become a kitchen chemist and master key tips on how to grow, harvest, dry, and use garden herbs. You also discover how to maintain a healthy complexion in all seasons by cleansing, exfoliating, and stimulating circulation using homemade body scrubs and herbal detoxifying soaks.

Of course there may still be times when you would prefer to purchase herbal skincare products. Brock helps you deepen your understanding of organic, green, and sustainable terminology and how these terms relate to product choices; discover what herbal products are best suited to you; and see through the marketing hype in natural and organic cosmetics.
