Amy Merrill

Amy Merrill is the chief partnerships officer for Change Heroes, a technology company that has scaled personalization of peer-to-peer fundraising for social impact. She develops strategic partnerships, produces experiential events, and drives content strategy to scale startup-sized organizations with massive social implications. She has developed cross-sector partnerships between major brands and nonprofit organizations, led marketing and development to meet multimillion dollar organizational budgets, and developed strategic communications for thought leaders and entrepreneurs.

Previously, as the director of Partnerships & Business Development for anti-sex trafficking organization SMF, Merrill led digital communications, engaged celebrity advocates, and produced fundraising events, campaigns, and a digital platform for grassroots activism, helping to position the organization at the forefront of the anti-trafficking movement. She developed partners like PBS’ Half the Sky transmedia project, the Global Citizen Festival, and the Office of the Mayor of NYC. Before that, Amy Merrill worked as a strategy consultant for nonprofit organizations, and as Associate Director of the Jazz Foundation of America.
