Ann Richardson Stevens

Ann Richardson Stevens holds Level I and II certificates from Mind Body Solutions and Matthew Sanford in Adaptive Yoga, and is certified as a 1000-hour yoga teacher by Beryl Bender Birch and The Hard & The Soft Yoga Institute. A member of the International Yoga Therapists Association and the New York Iyengar Institute, she also is registered as a 500-hour multistyle experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT) through Yoga Alliance.

Richardson was introduced to yoga in the late 1990s and felt a calling to pass along the benefits that she had gained from the practice. Trained in several traditions, she now leads workshops across the country and teaches a variety of classes emphasizing technique and alignment, intensives, and teacher trainings at the 200-hour and 500-hour levels.

Inspired to give back to the community through selfless service, she works with the Exalted Warrior Program and sits on the Board of the Give Back Yoga Foundation. She feels privileged to provide classes in adaptive yoga to veterans returning from combat and to people with disabilities.
