James Higgins

A yoga teacher since 1997, James Higgins weaves together his study of traditional vinyasa yoga with vipassana meditation, offering a unique and challenging meditative yoga practice with an emphasis on the integration of physical, mental, and emotional wellness. Trained extensively as a healer and a yoga teacher, he leads his popular retreats in the United States and internationally.

Using Buddhist wisdom, physical alignment, and spiritual insight, his teaching is informed by 15 years of mediation studies and 20 years of asana practice, including four years of exclusive Anusara Yoga study with John Friend.
