Joe Weston

Joe Weston is an international workshop facilitator, consultant, personal life coach, creative social activist, and advocate for peace.

The author of Mastering Respectful Confrontation, he is founder of Heartwalker Peace Project, initiating various “Heartwalks” (peace rallies with routes in the shape of a heart) and peace vigils to create opportunities for connection, discussion, and creative collaboration.

Born and educated in New York, Weston lived in Amsterdam for 17 years and now lives in Washington DC. He is committed to helping others embody their true power, to overcome and prevent conflict, and to supporting them on their journey toward personal fulfillment and freedom.

Weston brings a wealth of insight to his work based on many teachings, including tai chi, Buddism, Taoism, and a variety of other ancient traditions, and his experience in theater and various organizational trainings.

Weston’s clients include NASA, The World Bank, The Giving Institute, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and various educational institutions, including Omega Institute and various dharma and retreat centers around the world.

Weston is currently working with different veterans organizations, supporting returning and wounded veterans in their process of integration and healing, and has also volunteered for the Liberation Prison Project, teaching Buddhism to inmates.
