Kimberly von Brandenstein
Kimberly von Brandenstein is a certified teacher and graduate of the special teaching program at California State University, Long Beach, with Dr. Betty Edwards, renowned author of Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. Von Brandenstein also has worked with Dr. Edwards at the New York Botanical Gardens Intensive Workshops, which had been held annually in New York City.
A summa cum laude graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, von Brandenstein is the recipient of numerous awards from the NYU Film Festival for best art direction and film design. She has been on the faculty of The School of Visual Arts in New York, The Arts Council of Princeton, and The Princeton University Art Museum's Children's Program.
Kimberly Von Brandenstein began as a drawing student more than two decades ago at the Omega Institute with Lynda Greenberg and she now teaches students privately. She also conducts in-service workshops and artist-in-residence programs for art educators in Princeton, New Jersey, as well as professional organizations such as the New Yorker Magazine.
