Madan Bali

Madan Bali, PhD, is 97 years old and a living example of the ability of yoga to rejuvenate, rebuild, and compensate for any functional declines and to restore normal to optimal levels of wellness. He was born in Northern India, where he developed an interest in a spiritual path at a very young age. In the 1960s, he emigrated to Montreal, Quebec, in Canada, and has been sharing yoga in schools, hospitals, corporations, and community centers for almost half a century.

A Vedanta scholar with a doctorate in complementary medicine, he also founded and directs Yoga Bliss, where he has shared his knowledge and research with thousands of students and teachers. He teaches how to export the benefits of yoga into daily life. The Bali Method is based on the principle that the wisdom of the body has a complete pharmacy of its own and is completely self-sufficient. It provides a practical approach to tap into the body’s full potential for heath, happiness, and wholeness.
