Susan Bourgerie, MA, LP, is an experienced psychotherapist and the cofounder of Loring Psychotherapy and Mindfulness Center in Minneapolis, MN. She is also part of the team delivering the Resilience Training Program (developed at Partners in Resilience) at the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing.

Bourgerie approaches treatment of depression, anxiety, and other stress-related problems from an integrative, whole-person perspective, working with individuals, couples, and groups. She has practiced Vipassana and Zen meditation for many years, and has trained with John Kabat-Zinn to deliver the nationally recognized Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program. In her efforts to integrate Buddhist psychology and meditation practice into her work, Bourgerie has studied with a variety of Buddhist psychotherapists and meditation teachers including Tara Brach, John Welwood, Pema Chodron, and Thich Nhat Hanh.
