Turiya Hanover has been leading personal development workshops and trainings worldwide since 1973. Her own training includes humanistic and gestalt psychology, bioenergetics, psychodrama, hypnosis, Somatic Experiencing™, ego psychology, Family Constellation, and the Enneagram.;

In 1972, she and her husband were part of developing the first German humanistic psychology retreat center, ZIST, located in Penzberg, Germany, and still in operation today. The internal shift that she experienced there was so profound that she and her husband set on a new course of human development, which lead them to India where she met and became a disciple of the Indian mystic Osho.

The sudden, unexpected death of her husband marked a turning point for Hanover. This experience deeply influenced her own personal search and how she works with people today.

Her work has evolved around bridging western tools of psychological understanding with eastern methods of meditation and transcendence. She cofounder of The Path of Love, an intensive 7-day group process to awaken human potential, and cofounder of the Working With People trainings for counselors.
