It is rare for indigenous shamans from South America to leave their countries to teach others their traditions and wisdom. In The Great Shamanic Initiation, we have the unique opportunity to receive teachings for personal transformation and renewal directly from four Q’ero shamans of Peru.
Also leading this shamanic initiation are Alberto Villoldo, a medical anthropologist and psychologist, who has studied the spiritual practices of the Amazon and the Andes for more than 25 years, and Marcela Lobos, a medicine woman initiated in the healing and spiritual traditions of the Amazon and the Andes.
Together we experience the energetic transmissions of an ancient Inka lineage of earth-keepers during two fire ceremonies, one that can free us from collective karma and our violent human history, and another that awakens our light body. These transmissions help us grow a body that heals and ages differently, and allow us to dream a new world into being.
The Q’ero shamans and Villoldo also provide an updated and live reading of their prophecies beyond 2013.
Marcela Lobos was born and raised in Chile, where she leads expeditions, working primarily with women shamans who belong to a matriarchal society that maintains the wisdom and passion of Mother Earth. She is also involved in many events, courses, and expeditions as a senior staff member at the Four Winds Society. thefourwinds.com
For 500 years the elders of the Q’ero, the Quecha-speaking indigenous Andean people of south-central Peru, preserved a sacred prophecy of a great change, or “pachuti,” in which the world would be turned right side up, harmony and order would be restored, and chaos and disorder ended. Q’ero shamans don Francisco, don Humberto, dona Bernardina, and Wilbert are travelling from the high Andes of Peru to share initiation ceremonies that help transform the self and usher in a new era.
