Adults are welcome to choose from the following Dabblers offered Tuesday through Thursday afternoons during Family Week. You may take a different Dabbler class each afternoon, stay with your favorite one, or just take an afternoon off to relax!

Imagine stepping into an imaginary world where heroes and villains abound. You have entered the Wayfinder Experience role-playing adventure. The Wayfinder Experience combines sports with play, rugged adventure with imaginative role-playing, problem solving with creative expression, and fun!
Hoop dance is an exciting, transformational dance, a moving meditation, or simply a fun new way to exercise. This dabbler welcomes everyone, from complete beginners to those with more intermediate experience. We cover the foundational techniques of hoop dance, by learning hooping on the waist, hips, legs, shoulders, and hands.

Feel the music and let loose. Bring water and dress to sweat for this exercise in disguise.
Dance Your Bliss™
Are you ready for an exuberant, wildly fun, and life-changing experience? Dance Your Bliss™ is a powerful healing method that connects us to our best selves, to each other, and to boundless possibilities. Psychotherapist and expressive movement trainer Rachel Fleischman teaches us how to bring emotions into the physical body so they can be seen, felt, and healed.
Afro Flow Yoga™ infuses a meditative yoga sequence of gentle yet powerful stretches with dance movements from West Africa and the Caribbean. Deeply connect with the soulful rhythmic drums, energize your chakras, gain strength and flexibility, and rejoice in feeling fully alive, grounded, and peaceful. All levels of yoga experience are welcome.
How to Be Romantic: For Men Only
Men: Learn what women really want! Women: Send your man to this workshop! Next thing you know, you’ll be whisked away to Paris for the weekend (or at least get a birthday present.) Seriously, this men-only workshop is a chance for guys to learn from fearless romantic Joe Killian how to breathe warmth and fun into your relationship (or perhaps how to get one.)
Unleashing the Tennis Player Within

In this dabbler, we learn off-court exercises that strengthen concentration and somatic centeredness. Then we head to the courts to build awareness and trust, to unleash our inner player, and most of all have fun. Come on over to the tennis courts and unleash your inner player. Beginners to advanced levels; please wear sneakers and shorts or work-out pants. (***Cancelled if inclement weather.)
Mindfulness Tools for Parents
To parent mindfully, we need to be mindful. There’s no way around it. If you are a parent, teacher, therapist, or anyone else with children in your life, the greatest gift you can give to them is your authentic presence. Learn the art of mindfulness and how to be it, share it, and teach it to your kids.

The art of memoir involves shaping the chaos of our lives into stories that can resonate with others. In this experiential dabbler, we gather to explore how memory and imagination are stirred when the pen moves across the page.
Join in the ancient tradition of community-building through song. Learn rhythms, harmonies, chants. and songs from around the world in a fun and relaxed environment. Singing together is a joyous and invigorating experience, and a great way to release tensions while creating a sense of cooperation and trust. You will be amazed at the beauty and harmony we create together!
