Senior Iyengar Yoga instructor Joan White takes us deep into the traditions of Iyengar Yoga, and deeper still into ourselves based on the most current developments of B.K.S. Iyengar’s teachings.
Open to teachers and enthusiastic students alike, this 5-day intensive of asana, philosophy, and pranayama is designed to surprise and delight. White blends her sense of humor with her deep respect for the Iyengar Yoga lineage in a way that transcends asana and connects us deep within our beings.
Mornings cover the full range of classical poses. Afternoon sessions include talks and discussions on the subtleties of yogic philosophy, practical questions on practice, and pranayama.
A minimum of six months of yoga experience is required. This workshop can be applied toward the continuing education requirements of Yoga Alliance.
