Description

The practice of writing is ultimately a practice toward deeper self-awareness and an exploration of consciousness. Writing the Deeper Story is an opportunity to explore personal identity and creativity using writing coupled with periods of mindfulness meditation.

Through periods of sitting meditation, writing exercises, readings, standing meditation, creative visualization, question-and-answer sessions, sharing, and discussion, we explore our innate creativity and experience deeper levels of awareness. We learn innovative writing prompts and techniques, discover ways to release writing blocks, cultivate depth and layers of emotional revelation in our writing, and touch the raw emotional core at the heart of creativity.

We return home with stronger writing skills and an expanded sense of our own divine being, as well as an extensive understanding of the connection between creativity and consciousness.
