Marshall Davis Jones
Poet, spoken-word artist, and songwriter Marshall Davis Jones describes himself as a man of words. In 2006, he found his voice at the renowned Nuyorican Poet's Cafe. From there, he has been on a mission to touch the world and inspire others to believe in being human.
Jones has shared the podium with such notables as Ambassador Andrew Young, Henry Louis Gates, Mia Farrow, Dr. Julius Garvey, and Simon Sinek. He has performed for artists such as Will.I.Am, Jordin Sparks, Musiq Soulchild, and John Leguizamo.
His original works have been featured on the BBC World News Network, in two TEDx programs, and in the internationally renowned Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix Arizona.
Marshall Davis Jones conducts workshops with youth and adults, regularly performs at colleges and universities, and is a member of Speakers Spotlight. He is currently working on his first book of poetry.
