Jon Kabat-Zinn and Rhonda V. Magee discuss why it's so important to rest in awareness, for ourselves and for each other.

Join Jon Kabat-Zinn, founder of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, and Rhonda V. Magee, a renowned teacher of mindfulness-based interventions for social justice and professor of law at the University of San Francisco, for a transformative event exploring the healing power of mindfulness in difficult times.

Through inquiry, investigation, and interpersonal meditative experience, we examine our relationship with our thoughts, emotions, body, and our various interfaces with the social world, including principled social action. Together, we cultivate embodied presence, awareness, and wakefulness. We also explore how the cultivation of mindfulness supports “taking a stand” both inwardly and outwardly in the face of injustice, while not compromising our equanimity, compassion, understanding, and humanity.

All are welcome, from newcomers to longtime mindfulness practitioners.
