Project Drawdown is perhaps the most unexpected and hopeful development in the critical effort to reverse global warming.

Since the findings were published in April 2017, Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming has become a New York Times best seller, prompting hundreds of media reports, events, and new editions worldwide.

Join us online Friday, from 7:30-9:30 p.m., for a rare gathering of the Project Drawdown leadership team, including Paul Hawken. The team will provide an interactive overview and update of Drawdown that will be streamed live at no cost.

The overview will be followed by a live Q&A session.

The Friday night presentation will kick off the full, three-day Drawdown Learn event. Drawdown Learn seeks to connect and support the emerging Drawdown network and share examples, resources, and ideas for the integration of Drawdown and its data within K-12 and higher education, as well as cross-sector and community efforts.

To access the free live stream, click the orange REGISTER TODAY button on this page, follow the steps outlined, and we will email you a link to watch the Friday evening session on Oct 19.

Satellite sites

We encourage individuals or groups to organize collective viewings of the live stream and thereby serve as satellite sites.  You may want to start your event earlier than ours to frame your own community conversation before viewing and participating in the Drawdown Learn live event.

Satellilte sites will allow groups to take in the latest information about Drawdown, share ideas, and identify potential action steps. The collective presence of these sites will be acknowledged and highlighted during the live stream, and on an interactive map.

By organizing satellite sites, you will:

  • Help spread the word about Drawdown
  • Establish relationships and become part of the emerging Drawdown network
  • Catalyze conversations or action in your community
  • Build momentum toward a solutions-based approach to reversing global warming

To register with us as a satellite site, submit your group's information here.  Please let us know whether you are hosting an event that is open to the public or not, and any other information about your school, organization, or group that you'd like others to know.
