Meena Srinivasan: Mindfulness & Equity
Meena Srinivasan tells the story of how her lifelong journey to unpack internalized oppression began when, at 4 years old, another child in the Little Miss America beauty pageant said to her, "You're so ugly with that black skin. You'll never win. Why are you here?" She explains how mindfulness and social and emotional learning can help us address issues of equity and truly liberate us as individuals and as a society.
