In this short teaching video, Pema Chödrön explains how change and impermanence offer unlimited possibility.
Pema Chödrön is widely beloved for her insightful, down-to-earth teachings of Tibetan Buddhism for Western audiences.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience one of today’s most prominent Buddhist teachers and hear her new insights, conveyed with her characteristic warmth, clarity, and humor.
This year we explore and practice Buddhism’s six paramitas—or transcendent practices—of generosity, ethical conduct, patience, joyful effort, meditation, and wisdom as a way to see into the nature of reality and cultivate the compassionate intention to help all beings awaken.
The weekend includes talks, guided meditations, and question-and-answer sessions with Pema Chödrön. Tim Olmsted guides us in meditation practices that show us how to apply the weekend’s teachings to our everyday lives. Silence is observed from the end of Friday night’s retreat session until Saturday dinner.
Note: Pema Chödrön will not be teaching during the Saturday afternoon session. Tim Olmsted will offer a talk and a series of guided meditations during that time.
