In this Advanced Songwriting workshop with Grammy-nominee Jimmie Dale Gilmore, we further explore songwriting as a tool for self-discovery, building on insights and techniques drawn from the Songwriting workshop. The interaction and strong communication experienced in this supportive setting is a fruitful means of opening new possibilities and inspiration for further individual work.

Enrollment is limited for this program; register early. Admission to this workshop is limited to people who have studied previously with Jimmie Dale Gilmore, with no exceptions.

Jimmie Dale Gilmore is also teaching Songwriting.

Things to Bring:

Bring a guitar or small keyboard if you have one. If you would like to receive feedback and evaluation, bring 30 printed copies (or a recording) of a song you have written.

Dining Hall Hours (Dinner is included on arrival day):
Breakfast: 7:00 a.m.–8:45 a.m.
Lunch: Noon–2:00 p.m.
Dinner: 6:00 p.m.–7:15 p.m.

Daily Open Classes in meditation, yoga, tai chi, or movement (subject to availability):
7:00–8:00 a.m., 12:15–1:00 p.m., 5:30–6:15 p.m., 5:30–6:30 p.m.
