At the heart of everything we do is the desire to experience the happiness and ease that we imagine to be possible. Yet, in our day-to-day experience our mind and our heart seem unreliable and uncooperative. During this weekend retreat, we’ll explore the uplifting and empowering message of the Buddha, that the essential nature of any experience we might have, however difficult or confusing, is wisdom that is open and compassionately connected to the world.
We’ll discover how to use the energy and richness of life, our thoughts and emotions, our hopes and fears, our work and our relationships as the foundation for the journey to awakening. We’ll learn to bring all of life’s experience to path—as the basis for inner peace and equanimity, as a source of radiant compassion, and finally, as brilliant wisdom.
Over the weekend, we’ll explore this beautiful journey through teachings, discussions, and sessions of meditation. This weekend program is open to anyone interested in transforming their heart and experience of the world, experienced meditators, and those who are just starting out.
