Workshop

Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) for Trauma Work

A Training for Mental Health Professionals

Sep 09 - Sep 14 2018 Rhinebeck, NY
Learn the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) technique in order to guide your clients toward a state of healing from traumatic events.

Healing from trauma requires brain and body-based safety. One must step into the fear, feel it fully, and reorient toward the painful experiences in order to dismantle the neurobiology that drives symptoms, addictions, and relational challenges.

Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), created by Lisa Schwarz, is a therapeutic technique that combines psychotherapy, neuroscience, and spirituality. The CRM method combines numerous techniques—including indigneous healing, breathwork, and attachment psychotherapy—to create a healing alchemy through eye positions, ego state therapy, and somatic attunement. This provides neurobiological scaffolding to help clients safely experience maximum somatic embodiment, release painful emotions, and reconnect to their life meaning in a heart-centered state.

In this training for mental health professionals, you learn to allow clients to clear their nervous systems, safely reprocess traumas, and extinguish fear while being fully present in the moment. Through talks, demonstrations, and practicums, you learn CRM skills for various diagnostic categories, tools to share with clients, and techniques to use when a client triggers you as a practitioner.

CE and CME are available and included in the tuition. However, you must register for CE/CMEs to receive them. You may register for your CE/CMEs online or by phone with Omega registration at 877.944.2002, before your arrival or at check-in.It is required that you attend all sessions for CE/CME certification.
