Earth & Sky Yoga

Shapeshifting Into Rooted Consciousness

Jul 23 - Jul 28 2017 Rhinebeck, NY

We are no longer taking online registrations for this workshop.

Earth & Sky Yoga, a dynamic blend of yoga and shamanism, helps you to shapeshift habitual states of being and become a change agent for cultural and ecological inclusion.

Yogis are modern-day shamans, medicine men and women, and healers. Through yoga practices we can tap into our own inner ecology and experience ordinary magic through the elements on and off the mat. But how do we expand this awareness into the world?

Earth & Sky Yoga is a dynamic and empowering blend of yoga and shamanism, rooted in the deep remembering of our connection with the Earth. Indigenous practices from around the world are woven into traditional and nontraditional yogic practices to support and awaken the senses. We learn to shapeshift habitual states of being and become change agents for cultural and ecological inclusion, expansion, and evolution. We also embrace a language that embodies the heart and mind of ancient shamans, learn to shapeshift emotions to dark allies and light possibilities, and immerse ourselves in shamanic practices, including journeys and a Mayan Fire Ceremony.

This experience, designed for yoga practitioners, teachers, and healers, is an invitation to shapeshift into Earth-based consciousness and to integrate the ancient wisdom of shamanism with a bold and evolutionary approach to guiding and empowering ourselves and others.
