Relax into a meditation experience grounded in Buddhist and developmental psychology principles with John Churchill and Nicole Churchill.

Relaxation, lovingkindness, and softening into our natural vulnerability are key elements of Embodying the Open Ground, an approach to meditation that draws upon the inherent intelligence of embodied experience. Grounded in Buddhist and developmental psychology, it is designed to address the psychosomatic needs and cultural conditioning of Western aspirants.

Discover how this non-dual, yogic understanding of body, breath, and consciousness calms the mind and opens us up to the heartfelt ground of being, while simultaneously healing the deep split between mind and body that makes stabilization of recognition easier. Experience the calming release of deep mindfulness through this powerful week of meditation sessions, lectures on mind/body integration practices, Kriya Yoga, movement, somatic integration, chanting, prayer, and community ritual.

In this weeklong retreat, you learn to rest in the essence as a vast openness of dynamic awareness, a transpersonal love that both transcends and includes body and mind.
