Workshop

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

Tapping Skills for Professionals

Aug 19 - Aug 24 2018 Rhinebeck, NY

We are no longer taking registrations for this workshop.

Unlock the full power of EFT using a systematic program that builds your skills over the course of 16 modules in this training with Dawson Church.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) have helped millions of people worldwide in coping with a range of emotional issues. Research shows that clinical EFT, the evidence-based form of the method, reduces cortisol and regulates inflammation and immunity genes.

Develop your skills and learn advanced tools to help your clients, even those with difficult conditions. In this professional training with Dawson Church, a pioneer in the field of epigenetics, you learn the neuroscience behind how traumatic experiences are encoded in the brain and explore 16 learning modules to build your understanding of the 48 core techniques of EFT. Through hands-on demonstrations, supervised exercises, and extensive guidance and feedback, you learn how to:

  • Reduce stress throughout the workday with proven 2-minute techniques
  • Eliminate emotional charges surrounding traumatic experiences using the “Movie Technique” and “Tell the Story Technique”
  • Address severe trauma and emotional flooding through EFT’s “3 Gentle Techniques”

Mental and medical health professionals, and coaches—as well as anyone interested in reducing stress—are invited to this training. As you discover how to lift your own emotional burdens with EFT, you gain the skills necessary to help others.

Upon completion of this workshop you will be better able to:

  • Demonstrate basic EFT methods with clients
  • Identify the physiological signs of the stress response
  • Describe how to utilize your observation of clients’ physiological shifts
  • Discern the cognitive changes consistent with effective therapeutic interventions
  • Name at least one hormonal, one neurological, one genetic, and one neurotransmitter shift that occurs when stress is reduced in a clinical setting

This course is designed for mental health professionals with a beginner-intermediate knowledge base in this field.

Prerequisite: You must complete the free online EFT seminar at theeftseminar.com prior to registering.
