During these intense times, when the state of the world can seem overwhelming, a number of questions may arise. How can you and your loved ones thrive in such conditions? How can we be well? How can you contribute to others’ well-being?
Join trauma therapist, yoga teacher, mother, and activist Hala Khouri for a weekend of exploration into these questions and more. Khouri calls for a collective paradigm shift, taking the focus away from individual well-being and instead finding answers within the connections between personal, interpersonal, and systemic trauma. This workshop is for teachers, community leaders, and any individuals interested in the relationship between personal healing and collective liberation.
The course includes a daily yoga practice, lecture and conversation about the links between trauma and social and environmental justice, and group work generating your own wisdom. Khouri strives to hold a space that is inclusive of all regardless of race, gender expression, culture, religion, ability, or body type.
Discover your role in the healing of the world, both individually and collectively with others.
