This 5-day retreat addresses unique aspects of military sexual trauma for women veterans and active duty service members.

This Warrior Renew workshop is for women who have served in the military (veterans or current service members) and have experienced Military Sexual Trauma (MST). MST can impact the mind, body, and spirit. This retreat offers a safe, healing environment to resolve issues of the past and increase resiliency, and the encouragement to move forward in a positive way. Through therapeutic activities, including discussion, lectures, writing, mindful awareness, aromatherapy, movement, and group experiences using an integrative approach, we:

  • Work to resolve feelings of anxiety, anger, and resentment, including injustice and betrayal, self-blame, grief, and shame
  • Learn effective self-regulation and communication skills
  • Explore the impact of MST on relationships and how to cultivate trusting and healthy loving connections with others

This program is not an exposure-based treatment; you will not be asked to share or listen to trauma stories. Required: Six months of sobriety and emotional stability prior to workshop.

Application/Scholarships: Tuition for this retreat is $480 ($430 Members). Scholarships are available to cover all but $75 of the total cost. Application is required; apply early, as spots fill quickly.
