Deepen your practice while learning to help others in this training and retreat with Jeff Warren.

Meet Jeff Warren, an unlikely and highly energetic meditation teacher.

Meditation can restore sanity in a world that often seems out of control. Jeff Warren, a best-selling author who has been celebrated for his dynamic and accessible style of teaching, offers this training and retreat to empower you to guide others in meditation—as a way to care for yourself and others.

In addition to several sitting and guided meditation sessions, we explore topics including the power of holding space, the fundamental attentional skills that underlie practice, how these skills can be threaded through different “forms” or techniques (from meditating on the breath to sound to movement), how to work with common meditation-related challenges, how to use accessible language, and the centrality of honesty and teaching “where you’re at.”

We engage in experiential exercises, including writing and guiding our own meditations in small groups. We learn through feedback and, always, mindful attention to our own experience. As we get clearer about how to share meditation, our own practice deepens immeasurably.

Faculty recommends you read the following book in preparation for the course:

  • Meditation for Fidgety Skeptics: A 10% Happier How-to Book by Dan Harris and Jeff Warren with Carlye Adler

For more information about this course, and to read Jeff Warren’s philosophy of practice and guiding, download a free copy of his and the Consciousness Explorers Club’s Community Practice Activation Kit.

Faculty asks that you bring comfortable clothes with you to the course.
