Kalachakra Empowerment

Realize Enlightenment in This Lifetime

Aug 25 - Aug 30 2019 Rhinebeck, NY
Experience a rare opportunity to attain the Kalachakra Empowerment from the Jonang Lineage for enlightenment and world peace with Khentrul Rinpoché.

Learn about the many layers of meaning embedded within the term Kalachakra.

Every human being can live with meaningful and steady happiness, helping to create compassion-based societies and ultimately bringing peace to our planet. Transform limited capacities into limitless potential with Shar Khentrul Jamphel Lodrö Rinpoché, a renowned Jonang Kalachakra scholar and Buddhist Rimé master.

Of the Supreme Yoga Tantras, the Kalachakra transcends religion in a direct global connection in both ancient and modern times. Join the only opportunity in North America for non-monastic vajrayana empowerment in 2019.

In step-by-step guidance through lecture, discussion, silent meditation, mantra, and mandala offerings, gain a complete path to enlightenment in one lifetime. Khentrul Rinpoche will bestow the outer preliminary teachings, oral transmission of the divine ladder (the ngondro), Innate Kalachakra (uncommon preliminary of Kalachakra), and teachings on the six vajra yogas. Those attending view a 3D mandala along with the direct empowerment.

“Khentrul Rinpoche is one of the greatest living masters of the Kālacakra Tantric tradition, whose teachings are available in English to students in the West. He makes the Kālacakratantra empowerment a very personal and meaningful experience. He explains clearly and in detail every step of the initiation process, enabling the initiates to actively participate in the empowerment and receive the maximum benefits.” —Vesna Wallace

WHO CAN ATTEND

There are no prerequisites. This path is flexible; it allows us to engage with it wherever we are. Everyone who has a desire can learn to practice the profound path of Kalachakra, the pinnacle of the Buddha’s teaching. The empowerment can be taken as a blessing or empowerment. The refuge, bodhisattva, tantric vows, and uncommon vows of Kalachakra will be offered along with the empowerment for those taking this as an empowerment.

Note: There are limited sponsorships available. Monastics should email chloe@rimekalachakra.org.

ABOUT KALACAKRA

Kalachakra brings peace to oneself and the world as we learn to harmonize our environment with our body and mind. Kalachakra, which means wheel of time, transcends religions, time, space, and perceived reality. It is the essence that makes up our very nature. It harmonizes the cosmic with our internal system and the enlightened mind. Unlike other buddhist teachings, Kalachakra is very detailed, giving insight and direction to help anyone of any religious tradition to realize their true nature. This teaching helps us move past habitual limitations to unleash our limitless potential of love and compassion.

COMPLETE SYSTEM TO ENLIGHTENMENT

The Tibetan Buddhist Jonang Lineage specializes in the complete path that guide students in a clear step-by-step system to enlightenment. It is known specifically for upholding the 6 vajra yogas through which many enlightened masters have transitioned. It has rarely been taught in its entirety to lay (non-monastic) practitioners in the West. Most of the Jonang Yogi’s have decided to remain practicing in their caves and monasteries in the Himalayas. Inspired by His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s effort to initiate millions of students, Khentrul Rinpoche has made it his life’s mission to bring these teachings to the West in English. He hopes to create the conditions for both female and male practitioners living their daily lives to realize the heart essence of these profound teachings.
