Although creative beings are known to manifest beautiful art, the ultimate work of art is the life we live. Regardless of whether you consider yourself to be a creative person, this workshop reveals the simple truth that nurturing our creative gifts can help us construct a meaningful and satisfying life filled with opportunity and joy.
Guided by acclaimed singer songwriter Lisa Loeb and sacred musician and author David Newman, we learn concrete ways to uncover and engage our deepest creative instincts. Through music, meditations, discussions, storytelling, chanting, and other reflective practices, we explore our connection with the muse and how creativity seeks to express itself in our life. This creative expression could take the form of a song, poem, or painting. However, the intention of this workshop is to expand the notion of what it means to be creative and how to see our lives as a work of art.
We return home with new tools to access the innate wisdom in our hearts, as well as practices to help us live life to its fullest and richest potential—like a beautiful work of art.
